Easter Sunday: Cotswold Wildlife Park

Happy Easter!!! We slept in today and not realising the clocks going forward shamefully missed Church going because we woke too late to get there on time, oops. JJ was up bright and early as it was his BIRTHDAY and he was out with both dogs when we finally woke.
So we went to the Cotswold wildlife park as agreed a few days ago, but JJ desired some quiet times with his new book so it was just the girls and me.
I took a lovely little video of the otters there but I think it's too large to up-load. There were 4 young, born in August 2012 and their mum and dad, scroll down to near the end where a shorter video can be seen
I have posted a link to YOUTUBE for the longer one, they were so cute!

Cookaburra sits in the Old Gum-tree-ee....

Merry merry King of the bush is he- ee.

And we saw a crane who was protecting his lady who was sitting on the nest: THIS is what he did to anyone walking close by the enclosure:

Nostalgia part 2.

Nice haircut and lovely frog closures. Celtic knots.

Colourful triangles from Missoni the knitwear heroes of the time.

 Parisien Chic
 Hello SAILOR.
And then the fake or faux fur section:

Boxy A -line short jacket with fabulous collar and interesting texture detail on surface of felted boiled wool.
Long line Chanel classic in RED.

This is the white stuff: mould? Mildew? what? Nasties in any case now growing on my collection of needlework patterns and guidance from 1972-1974. Dad let me subscribe to this monthly or weekly instead of my pocket money. I absolutely loved it. I managed to finish or complete the collection before we moved to the UK after he died. I think I saved the CROCHET section at least as I have that inside.
I am mourning the loss, it's probably unsafe to refer to now.
